Liscenced Veterinary Technician
Renee Householder

I graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with an Associate  Degree in the Applied Sciences of Veterinary Technology.  I have been approved by the Board of  Allied Health and have recieved my liscences in April of 2005.  I have lived in Seymour all of my life and absolutely love it here!  I am very passionate about what I do and and love animals of all kinds.  I have a German Shepherd/Lab mix, Chevy, that is my baby boy!  I also have 2 girls, a 5yr old border collie mix and a 2yr old Collie mix named Penny and Elly.  I also have a big orange cat named Sammy who always has something to say!!

Liscenced Veterinary Technician
Stephanie Sexton

I have been a licensed Vet Techinician since 2000.  Although I really enjoy my job here at BCAH, my true passion is for my horses.  My husband, Brandon, and I own Paint For Performance Farms, here in Seymour, where we breed, raise, and show APHA and AQHA reining and barrel racing performance horses.  Since I only work part-time and Brandon owns his own law practice, we both have enough free time to travel across the country showing- which is what I really love doing!  We feel that our lives have been richly blessed and thank God for everything he has given us and allowed us to accomplish over the years.  I am a huge fan of College Football, Lord of the Rings movies, and Japanese Cartoons, so I tend to sit in front of the TV for too long.  Sharing quality time with my family is also important to me and I am fortunate enough to have most everyone 5 to 10 minutes away.  We're all animal lovers.  Currently my group of 'kids' includes:  6 bulldogs, 1 pit bull, 1 boston terrier, and 6 cats.  I've always had a big heart for animals and have trouble saying no to just one more!

Liscenced Veterinary Technician
Amanda Whited

My name is Amanda Whited.  Ever since I was a child, I have had a special place in my heart for all furry creatures.  As soon as I was old enough, I began working in the veterinary field.  I graduated from Motlow State Community College in Lynchburg, TN with an associate in Science Degree with Pre-Veterinary emphasis in 2002.  In May of 2007, I recieved an Associate of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College in Florida.  Shortly thereafter, I was issued a licesnce by the Tennessee State Board of Veterinary Medical Technician within the state of Tennessee.  I have had the priviledge of helping many wonderful pets and parents of pets for a total of close to 6 years.  I live in South Knoxville with my husband and our four furry kids, three cats and a basset hound.  I am so excited to be a part of the family here at Boyd's Creek Animal Hospital, and I look forward to growing and spending many more years to come here.

Veterinary Assistant

Ali Hurst

My name is Ali Hurst.  I am a graduate of Fulton High School.  I attend United Missionary Baptist Church.  I am currently enrolled in classes through Penn Foster College to earn my associates of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology.  I then hope to be licensed once I graduate. I share my life with one cat named Bandit and a chinchilla named Chiller.  I have always had a special place in my heart for animals ever since I was a little girl.  I hope by earning my degree I can help in the betterment and well being for the animals I love so dearly.
