Our Doctors

Dr. Olivia Lakatosh knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian from a young age and began working at Boyd’s Creek Animal Hospital under Dr. Brandi Dukes as a kennel assistant at age 15. After graduating from Seymour High School in 2010, she went on to the University of Tennessee and earned her Bachelor of Animal Science in 2014. She completed her veterinary education by graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.

She spent six years as a mixed animal veterinarian in the Black Hills of South Dakota before returning to Seymour with her family in 2024 to practice small animal medicine. She has completed additional coursework and training in diagnostic imaging, particularly small animal ultrasound. Outside of work, Dr. Olivia enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and time with her family and pets. Dr. Olivia brings a wealth of knowledge, care and expertise to Boyd’s Creek. We are excited to welcome her back home at BCAH on July 1st and look forward to how she will continue to serve the Seymour community that is so very dear to her and her family.

Dr. Olivia and our experienced medical team and support staff look forward to providing a collaborative, hands-on, and compassionate approach - to ensure every dog, cat, or animal companion receives the highest standard of care.

We also have several other Relief Veterinarians who join us consistently each month and bring a variety of surgical and diagnostic expertise to Boyd's Creek.
